At most schools studens have lessons in the morning and in the afternoon; our school is one of them, but I'm not in favour of this policy.
I think it's better to attend school only in the morning for several reasons. Firstly, when you go home, you have lunch and don't have to leave home again, and you have free time in the afternoon. Secondly, you don't have to pay for lunch or the bus. Finally, you have more time to do your homework or to play your sport.
So all in all, in my opinion, it's good to go to school only in the morning, so I think our school should change its policy.
